Jill E. Huson, 71, of Wyanet, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Washington Senior Living.

Jill was born on January 12, 1953 in Peoria, IL to Beatrice R. (Puckett) and Lyle Scottie Huson. Her mother survives. She married Tom Lenz in Peoria in 1997. He preceded her in death in 1998.

Jill is survived by her daughter, Molly (Jamie) Anderson of Groveland, IL; her grandsons, Logan and Jacob Anderson; her mother of Rockford, IL; and her siblings, Michael (Marilyn) Huson of Florida, and Joy (Gene) Jordan of Rockford, IL.

Jill was a member of the Howett Street Christian Church all of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandsons and her dogs. Jill enjoyed singing in choirs and playing the piano. She was loved greatly by those who knew her and she will be dearly missed by many.

Jill's professional life was spent in the printing business. She took great pride in her work. She retired from Caterpillar in 2016.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tazewell County Resource Centers, Inc. in Pekin, IL or Bureau Valley Veterinary Services in Princeton, IL.

Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. Cremation has been accorded.
