Obituary WASHINGTON- Jessie M. Reuscher, 85, of Henry, formerly of Washington, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 5:52 A.M. at Heartland Healthcare in Henry. Jessie was born on November 29, 1930 in Pinckneyville to Oscar and Mildred (McCune) Krupp. She married Lawrence W. Reuscher on January 11, 1953 in Campbell Hill. He survives and resides in Henry. Together, they had three sons, William "Bill" (Cindy) Reuscher of Magnolia, Kurt Reuscher of East Peoria, and Eric (Nancy) Reuscher of Wisconsin; and five grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Florence Lawrence and Wanda Price. Jessie worked as a devoted homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Peoria. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and helping with VBS for many years. Memorial contributions may be made to Concordia Lutheran Seminary- Missouri Synod. There will be a visitation for Jessie on Tuesday, August 9,, 2016 from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Interment will follow at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
