Jerry Scott Armstrong, 55, of Sunnyland, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

Scott was born January 10, 1967 in Peoria to Jerry and Joyce Armstrong; he married Deena Moreland on September 17, 2004.

Surviving is his wife Deena of Sunnyland; his daughter, Emily Hale and his son, Anthony Cole; granddaughter, Ryleigh; his mother, Joyce Chapman; his sisters, Tari (Tim) Fauth, Chris (David) Siebert, Paty (Butch) Beccue, and Angela (Jeff) Stanton; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad.

Scott always liked to keep busy, whether he was working or walking countless miles around Sunnyland, Washington, East Peoria and beyond. He was a fan of Star Wars and Star Trek, loved music and was a fan of the Beatles. Scott was a friend to many and never met a stranger. His presence will be missed.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
