Jerrold L. "Jerry" Hall, 78, of Metamora, passed away peacefully Monday, July 17, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born October 14, 1944 in Peoria to Roy and Doris (Head) Hall.  He married Rosalie Hulse in East Peoria on March 2, 1968.  She survives.

Also surviving are son, Bryan (significant other, Gina Steinsultz) Hall; eight grandchildren, Brenna, Griffin, Jaden, Quaid, Paxton, Jovie, Brittany, Bethany; four great-grandchildren; brother, James Hall; and nephew, Brett Bahn.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Jon and Jay.

Jerry was a United States Army Veteran.  After his service he began driving a truck for Tobler Transfer, Kroger, and NE Finch before retiring.  He was a member of the Teamsters for over 30 years.

He was an avid car enthusiast, rebuilding several cars from the wheels up.  He was a member of the National Street Rod Association (N.S.R.A.), and Hudson Club (H.E.T.)

A funeral service will be held at 11am Friday, July 21, 2023 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.  Visitation will be one hour before the service on Friday from 10 to 11am at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
