Obituary Jennifer S. Rudd, 59, of Peoria, died on Thursday, March 9, 2017. She was known for her compassion, friendliness, independence, intelligence, homespun wisdom, optimism, faith, and the endless love that she dispensed freely. She loved her family, her friends, her magazine, other people's successes, Bailey Lake, education, Duluth, lists, Ecuador, the Rudd family, Forest Park, stories, running, and above all, her children. Jenny was born June 15, 1957 in Lansing, MI to Roger and Rosalie (Dickerson) Rowe. She was a graduate of Holt High School and Davenport College of Business in Michigan. She was also the proud owner and publisher of Midwestern Family Magazine. Surviving are her father, Roger (Linda) Rowe; mother, Rosalie Parmalee; the father of her children, Bruce Rudd; three children, Ryan, Phillip (Abigail Marshak), Amanda; and three sisters, Karen (Gary) Irish, Laurie (Jack) Horstman, and Marilyn (Greg) Foxhoven. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and uncle, Larry Dickerson. As she loved others, she will be missed - 'in ways you don't even know.' In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Red Cross Central Illinois Chapter. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.
