Jennifer Kannenberg, 76, a lifelong resident of Peoria, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, in Peoria.

Jenni was born on May 28, 1950, in Peoria to Genevieve Sutton and Edward Murphy. She grew up in Peoria and remained in the community throughout her life. Jenni worked as a nurse for many years.

Jenni is survived by her daughter, Stacy Kannenberg (Rodney); her stepdaughters, Brandi Hogan (Patrick) and Paula Kannenberg (the late Leigh Tabor); her nephew John Buckley (Sarah); her grandchildren, Logan Anderson, Jacque Hogan, and Zack Hogan (Danielle); her great-granddaughter, Luelle; and her brother, Tom Crotts (Jean)

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kannenberg, who passed away in 2024; her stepdaughter, Michelle Anderson; and her siblings, William Murphy, Larry Murphy, Chuck Murphy, and Charla Buckley.

To honor Jenni's wishes cremation rites will be accorded.  A private family service will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to Temple Anshai Emeth or TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter in honor of Jenni's memory.
