Obituary Washington- Jennie R. Spatafore, 85, of Washington passed away at 1:10 AM on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. Jennie was born on May 11, 1927 in Chicago, IL to the late Gerald and Catherine Cimino Pentimone. She married Mario F. Spatafore on October 19, 1946 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on April 12, 2011. Surviving are her children, Jean (Robert) Jones of Washington, Stephen Spatafore and Michael (Lisa) Spatafore both of Thornton, CO; four grandchildren, Stephanie (Michael) Martinek of Peoria, Anthony(Nikki) Jones of Minier, IL, Jacob (Heather) Spatafore and Zackary Spatafore, both of Thornton, CO; 8 great-grandchildren, Kayelee and Hayden Martinek, Lexi, Hailey, Brooklynn, Brittany and Logan Jones and Logan Spatafore; a sister, Rose DesParte, a brother, Dominic Pentimone and a sister-in-law, Ida Pentimone. Jennie was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Frank Pentimone, two nephews, Joseph DesParte and Dominic Pentimone, a sister-in-law, Joan Pentimone and an infant son. She worked as a telephone operator before trading in her career as a full time mom and homemaker. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington. Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 16, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington. Visitation will take place at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton.
