Obituary Jeffrey Jay Morgan, 48, of East Peoria, IL, died at 8:20 am Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his home. He was born on December 24, 1964 to Charles C. and Nancy Kaye DiGregorio Morgan. Surviving are his parents of East Peoria, his brother, David Morgan of Kankakee, IL, his maternal grandmother, Jean DiGregorio of Henry, IL, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jeffrey loved them all. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paris DiGregorio, and his paternal grandparents, Chuck and Betty Morgan. Jeffrey attended Schramm School in Pekin until he was 21 years old, where he played on the school basketball team. He later worked at Tazewell County Resource Center for 24 years, spending the last 14 years as a staff member. His last day of work was July 13, 2010. Jeffrey loved life, and enjoyed all kinds of sports. Services for Jeffrey will be at 10 am Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria, where there will be an opportunity to share a memory of Jeffrey. Deacon Steve Racki will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Friday, April 19, 2013 at the funeral home and hour prior to the service on Saturday.
