Obituary GREENVIEW--Jason W. Baker, 33, of Greenview, IL, formerly of Washington died at 10:20 AM, on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at his residence. He was born on October 17, 1972 in Pontiac, Illinois to Dallas and Sharon Bigger Baker. Surviving is his father, Dallas (Carol) Baker of Water Valley, MS; his stepfather, Russell Willey of Florida; his fiancee, Melissa Puddy of Greenview, IL; 1 son, Jesse Baker of Pottstown, MS; 1 daughter, Makayla Baker of Greenview, IL; 3 stepdaughters, Marrissa, Maranda and Angel Puddy; 1 stepson, Austin Puddy; 3 brothers, Jeff (Kim) Baker of Creve Coeur, Steven (Denise) Baker of Linden, TN, and Rusty Willey of Creve Coeur; 2 sisters, Misty (Sam) Evans of Allendale, IL, and Kim (Rob) Stroud of St. Louis, MO; paternal grandparents, Odis (Thelma) Baker of Lawrenceville, IL; and his maternal grandmother, Juanita Bolby of El Paso, IL; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Willey and his maternal grandfather, Raymond Bigger. He was a self-employed contractor, having owned and operated Baker Construction. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. Pastor Michael Kolesar will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, September 8, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in El Paso, IL.
