Jaron B. Yakle, 20, of Elkhart, IL, formerly of Washington, IL, passed away at 11:01 am Thursday, August 19, 2021 in Mt. Pulaski, IL. He was born July 27, 2001 in Peoria, IL to Brad A. and Jody Davis Yakle. Surviving are his parents, Brad Yakle of Elkhart, IL and Jody Davis of Washington, IL, and three siblings, Peyton Yakle, Ellie Yakle, and Liam Davis, all of Washington. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Jaron attended both Washington Community High School and Mt. Pulaski High School. He was currently in his second semester at the University of Illinois in Springfield, IL. For the past 3 years, Jaron has served in the National Guard as an Infantryman with the 2nd Battalion 130th Infantry Regiment. He enjoyed computer programming, electronics and robotics. He loved spending time with his friends and family and will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. His funeral service will be at 10 am Wednesday, August 25th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
