Obituary EAST PEORIA-Janet M. Wenzel, 57, of East Peoria, IL, died at 1:31 am Thursday, March 10, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She was born on October 9, 1953 in Peoria to Lewis J. and Anna Loretta Burke Wenzel, Sr. Surviving are 1 brother, Lewis "Joe" Wenzel, Jr. of East Peoria, many dear cousins, and her 3 beloved companion dogs, Katie, Molly, and Dusty. Janet was preceded in death by her parents. She worked 3rd shift as an LPN for 32 years at St. Joseph's Home and also worked at the OSF Motherhouse. Janet was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church in East Peoria where there will be a funeral mass at 10 am Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Father James E. Kruse will officiate. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Monday, March 14, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington, with a rosary service at 6:45 pm. Additional visitation will be held hour prior to mass at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in West Peoria.
