Obituary CREVE COEUR-Janet E. Schultz, 68, of Creve Coeur, IL died at 12:13pm Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria, IL. Born on December 26, 1940 in West Point, Illinois, to Henry and Ruth Winfield Leenerts, she married David L. Schultz on February 6, 1970 in East Peoria, IL. He survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, David (Lucy) Thewlis of Coconut Creek, FL and Joe (Mary) Thewlis of Peoria, IL, 1 brother, William Leenerts of Simpsonville, KY, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Janet retired from DHL in Peoria. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in East Peoria, the Peoria Obedience Training Club, and the Central Illinois Sheepdog Association. Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Pastor Kurt Mews will officiate.
