Janet D. Delk, 64, of Peoria, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Heritage Health in Chillicothe.

She was born April 30, 1959 in Jamestown, TN to the late Vertie and Janice M. Stanford Delk. She and her sweetheart, Jack Aylward, shared life for many years until he preceded her in death in 2015.

Janet is survived by her sister Jada (Brad) Mosburg of Peoria; her nephew Billy (Shelley) Mosburg and their children Jessica, Jasmine, Julianne, and Benjamin; and her niece Jena (Alex) Higdon and their children Jayden, Brayden, and Allie; and her best friends, Lorrie Pursell and Tammy East.

Janet was devoted, whether to her family or her career. She worked for Rohn Products for over 45 years. Lovingly fulfilling custom birthday cake requests for her nieces and nephews was a special enjoyment. Her kindness and generosity was also on display regularly, as evidenced by the numerous stray cats she rescued over the years. Janet's warmth and vibrance will be missed.

Her family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Cremation rites have been accorded.
