Jane F. Dobbins, 71, of Morton, formerly of Washington, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026 at Hallmark Healthcare of Pekin.

She was born April 13, 1954 in Belleville to George A. and Ann M. (Vollmer) Romack.  She married Dale Dobbins in Washington on November 6, 2004.  He preceded her in death on May 1, 2013.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Mark; and one sister, Cathy.

Surviving are four step-children; three brothers, George (Betty) Romack, Matt (Carol) Romack, Jim Romack; one sister, Mary (Jeff) Phillips; and three nephews.

Jane received her bachelor's degree and worked as an accountant, retiring from CEFCU after many years of service.

She enjoyed sports growing up.  She played softball and enjoyed bowling.  She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6pm Friday, April 10th at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, with further visitation one hour prior to Mass on Saturday from 10 to 11am at the church.  She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington where her Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 11th, Fr. John Steffen will officiate.  Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her church.
