Obituary EAST PEORIA James Carl Tribble, 83, of East Peoria, died at 7:40 AM, on Thursday May 29, 2008 at Manor Care Riverview in East Peoria, IL He was born to Jody and Novella Reeves Tribble on May 7, 1925 in Tennessee. His mother passed away when he was about two weeks old and his father a year later. His Mother's Sister Elma Gentry and husband Dee Gentry took Carl into their home when his mother died and raised him. Carl Married Allene Tittle on December 26, 1953 in Corinth Miss; they would be celebrating 55 years of marriage this year. He is survived by his wife Allene Tribble of East Peoria, three daughters; Malissia (Roger) Snedden of Peoria, Jeannie (Fred) Bieneman of Metamora, Cynthia Jo Tittle of West Point Georgia; Two sons James D. (Dorothy) Hills of Murfreesboro TN and William Carl (Marsha) Tribble of Boca Raton Fla. The cousins he was raised with: Margie Webb of Shelbyville TN, Louie Gentry and Inez Cunningham, along with 24 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, the aunt and uncle who raised him, son John Wayne Hills, seven brothers, two sisters and a grandson. Carl worked for Caterpillar for 34 years. He retired as a machinist in the tool room in 1982. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, camping and conversation. He was a very hard working, caring and wonderful husband and father and will be missed by all. A Time of Reflection will be held at 3 PM on Saturday May 31, 2008 at Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria Visitation will be held from 1-3 on Saturday.
