Obituary James Laughhunn, 90, of Creve Coeur, IL died at 7:55 am Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Washington Christian Village in Washington. Born on June 21, 1922 in Centralia, IL to Jess and Margaret Powell Laughhunn, he married Freda G. Patterson on May 1, 1959 in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are 1 daughter, Rhonda (Mike) McCauley of Washington, IL and 2 grandchildren, Evan McCauley and Brette McCauley. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. He was a US Army veteran serving during WW II. Jim retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co. after many years in the foundry. He loved fishing, hunting, woodworking, and spending time with his grandkids. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. A Graveside Service will be 2pm Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Versailles Cemetery in Versailles, MO.
