Obituary James "Jim" Huling, 51, of East Peoria, passed away at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. He was born June 4, 1963 in Pontiac, IL to Michael and Glenda Sue Watson Huling. He married Jeanne Rehm in Peoria on April 20, 1996. She survives. Also surviving are his mother, Glenda Sue Talley of Marquette Heights; 5 children, Samuel Jones of East Peoria, Daniel Huling of Peoria, Seth Huling of East Peoria, Alexandra Huling of East Peoria, Catherine Huling of East Peoria; 5 siblings, Paul Huling of Marquette Heights, Steven (Belinda) Huling of Stilwell, OK, Paul Arthur (Jeanie) Talley of East Peoria, Jonathan (Keitha) Talley of Goshen, IN, Sarah Talley of Marquette Heights; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Huling, and step-father, Paul Talley. Jim worked as a Snap-On Tool franchise owner. He was a Nascar and St. Louis Cardinal fan, and an avid Major League Soccer fan, but the thing he loved the most was watching his children play High School and College soccer. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for Seth, Alexandra, and Catherine at Morton Community Bank. He was a member of Eastside Bible Church at 1310 W Jefferson Street in Morton where his funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steve Weber officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church with further visitation one hour before services on Saturday at the church. Private burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
