Obituary WASHINGTON - James Ellard Sr., 82, of Washington, Il, died at 9:50 pm Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Heartland Health Care Center in Peoria. Born on July 14, 1927 in Thornton, Lancashire, England, he married Annie Jean Atkinson on June 24, 1950. She died on February 26, 2002. Surviving is 1 son, James Ellard Jr. of Paige, TX. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 1 sister. James was a Machinist at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for over 30 years. There will be no services or visitation, cremation rites have been accorded.
