Jake A. Harris, 33, of Washington, passed away with his wife by his side on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Unity Point Health Proctor Hospital in Peoria. He was born September 18, 1987 in Peoria, IL to Roy M. Harris and Bonni Campbell Harris. He married Sarah E. (Boswell) Harris in Chillicothe, IL on September 15, 2018. She survives. Also surviving is his father, Roy (Yolanda) Harris; mother, Bonni Harris; two sons, Landen and Ryder Harris; his brother, Brock Harris; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his four legged companion, Kobe. Jake worked at O'Brien Steel. He was an avid hunter and loved camping with his family. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 pm Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. A private funeral will be held with burial in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an education fund for his children at any CEFCU.
