Obituary Jacqueline S. "Jackie" Lister, 70, of Peoria, passed away at 3:40am Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka. Jackie was born October 18, 1946 in Peoria to Benjamin and Virginia Bush Wyss. She married Richard J. "Rich" Lister April 8, 1966 in Peoria. He preceded her in death June 3, 2013. Surviving are her sons, Richard J. (Kim) Lister, Jr. of East Peoria and Kenneth T. Lister of Plainfield; five grandchildren, Cody, Toby, Hayley, Jessie, and Addie; and four siblings, Gary Wyss of Bartonville, Marlene Wyss (Ed Wong) of Sunnyland, Dorie (Mike) Miller of East Peoria, and Jeannie (Mitch) Beers of Kenosha, WI. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Sondra Wyss. Jackie retired from Kroger after 30 years of service. She loved her family and friends very much and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Jackie liked to travel, wintering in Gulf Shores with her husband, and also liked to read and garden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
