Obituary Jack W. Isenberg Sr. 89, of East Peoria, passed away at 8 am Monday, April 17, 2017 at home. He was born May 11, 1927 in Alton, IL to Oliver C. and Ruth Deatherage Isenberg. He married Charlotte Dedert on Nov. 22, 1952 in Pocahontas, AR. She preceded him in death on July 14, 2006. He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, James; 1 brother and 1 sister. Surviving are 4 children, David (Wenda) Isenberg of Lebanon, MO, Janice (Al) Slaughter of East Peoria, Jay (Sally) Isenberg of Mathis, TX, Michael (KyuMi) Isenberg of Spanaway, WA; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and brother, James Isenberg of Boxborough, MA. Jack was a WWII Navy Veteran. He worked as an electrical engineer retiring from Enercon Engineering in East Peoria. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Peoria Honor Flight. Cremation has been accorded. His memorial service will be at 4 pm Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Family will receive friends one hour before the service from 3 to 4 pm at the funeral home.
