Obituary WASHINGTONa"J. Randy Jordan, 54, of Washington died at 11:06 PM on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. He was born February 3, 1956 in Peoria, IL to JP and Bobbie Jordan. Surviving are his fiance and partner of 21 years, Christina Schmitt; his daughter, Heather Jordan of Bartonville, IL; step son, Shane Schmitt of Washington; his sister, Lisa (Jack) Johnson of Lexington, TN; and many other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father, JP Jordan and his mother and stepfather, Bobbie (John) Burgess. Randy was a 1974 graduate of Limestone High School. He was in the building industry for 30+ years, last working for the Affiliated Home Center in Morton. Randy had been a volunteer fireman in Bartonville, and was active in the Peoria Home Builders Association as well as the American Poolplayers Association. A funeral will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington, IL. The Rev. Joey Watt will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 30 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton, IL.
