Obituary EAST PEORIA - Irene Mae Marcille, 90, of East Peoria, died at 11:30 pm Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Fondulac Rehabilitation and Health Care in East Peoria. Born on May 27, 1916 in Lansing, Iowa to Lloyd and Thilda Glynn Billhimer, she married Fred L. McFarland in June of 1937. She later married Carl "Sam" F. Marcille on November 16, 1948 in Springfield, IL. He died on May 17, 1976. Surviving are 2 daughters, Janice M. (Oscar "Dee") Parker of Creve Coeur, IL and Linda M. (Phillip) Souza of San Ramon, CA, 1 son, Galen F. McFarland of Phoenix, AZ 8 grandchildren, Deborah Hughes, Dianne Lorenz, Donna Thompson, David Parker, Dena Allende, and Daniel, Darrell and Dennis Souza, two first cousins,16 great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and 8 step-great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother and sister, and 2 great-great grandchildren, Olivia and Carter. She was a waitress in the Peoria area for 42 years, working at the Voyager Inn Coffee Shop and the Peppermill. In her younger years she helped her father in his photography business in West Liberty, IA. She was a member of Roland Manor Baptist Church in Washington and the Golden Agers Club at Leisure Acres in Washington. She was a former member of Family Campers and RV'ers (formerly National Campers and Hikers Association) and the Bears and Cubs Camping Club. She also was a 22 year Breast Cancer Survivor. Services will be at 11 am Friday, March 9, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria, IL. The Rev. Steve Hardin and Rev. Paul Maitland will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday, March 8, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
