Obituary PEORIA- Imogene Harding, 91, of Peoria, formerly of East Peoria, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 5:30 A.M. at Fondulac Rehabilitation and Health Care in East Peoria. Imogene was born on October 3, 1924 in Delavan to Zelvin V. and Viola W. Ringo Mitchell. She married John Harding on August 10, 1946 in Pekin. They recently celebrated 70 wonderful years together. He survives and resides in Peoria. She is also survived by her children, Steve Harding of Minneapolis, MN, John Harding III of Thailand, Patricia (Rick) Spiegel of East Peoria, and Kelli Hediger of Peoria; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 half-brothers. Imogene worked as a legal secretary for many years and retired from Sloan Abstract Company in Peoria. She was a member of the Mother's Club in East Peoria. She loved crocheting and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed. A graveside service for Imogene will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
