Obituary EAST PEORIAa"Ieleen Gladys Brownfield, 86, of East Peoria, died at 10:20 PM on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at St. Andrews Bay Nursing Home in Panama City, FL. Born on March 9, 1920 to John Franklin and Bessie Louise David Cox in Schuyler Co, IL, she married Frank Hubbard Brownfield on March 5, 1936 in Peoria, IL. He preceded her in death in November 1987 in Peoria. Surviving are 2 daughters, Betty (Bob) Dobbins of East Peoria and Nancy (Jay) Avery of East Peoria; 1 son, Richard Lee (Helen) Brownfield of Minden, NV; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren--2 of which have been serving their country in Iraq; and many nieces and nephews. Ieleen was preceded in death by 1 son, Billy Brownfield, 1 great granddaughter, Amanda Rohlman, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and her parents. She and her husband, Frank, owned and operated Brownfield's Restaurant in East Peoria for over 30 years. Private family services will be held on Monday at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria. The Rev. Bill Lakota Eastin will officiate. Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
