Obituary Peoria - Howard C. McGinnis, 43, of Peoria died at 9:25 PM on Tuesday November 19, 2013 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. He was born March 26, 1970 in Chicago to Howard and Mabel Denning Bailey. He married Merideth Belcher on February 23, 1995 in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are two sons; Stewart and Steven McGinnis both of East Peoria and two daughters; Brandy McGinnis of East Peoria and Ericka McGinnis of Peoria, five grandchildren, one sister, Judy Fields of Peoria, and three brothers; Charles (Sheri) Denning of Salt Lake City, Utah, Russell T. McGinnis of St. Petersburg, FL and Gail (Amy) McGinnis of East Peoria. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Russell E. McGinnis and his parents. Howard worked several years for Hoerr Landscaping in Peoria. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He loved his children and was a great support to them over the years. There will be a graveside service on Saturday November 30, 2013 at 10 AM at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. Deacon Craig Reaktenwalt will officiate.
