Obituary EAST PEORIAa"Helen M. Fackler, 94, of East Peoria died at 10:12 PM on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria. Born on Nov 28, 1916 in San Jose, IL to Wilbur and Minnie Laumeier White, she married Otis B. Fackler on Sept 18, 1937 at Crown Point, IN. He preceded her in death on Nov 16, 1971. Surviving is her son, Daniel (Jewellean) Fackler of East Peoria; she was a loving grandmother to Kristie (Terry) South of Dixon, IL and Brett (Sarah) Fackler of Washington; and she adored her 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Raymond White. Helen worked as a secretary in the Claims Department at All-State Insurance Company in Peoria, for over 20 years before her retirement in January 1982. She loved gardening and reaping the reward of beautiful flowers. Helen was a member of the United Presbyterian Church where she was involved with the Women's Guild and helped with church dinners. She was also a member of several bridge clubs and the Hammond Organ club. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Tues, April 26, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. The Rev. Dr. Randall Saxon will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Monday, April 25 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Greenhill Cemetery in San Jose, IL.
