Obituary Helen I. Donaldson, 93, of East Peoria, passed away at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Rosewood Nursing Home in East Peoria. She was born March 25, 1922 in Jasper County, IN to Charles and Nancy Helen Harper Martin. They both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by 1 son, Richard Carmichael; 1 daughter, Nancy Williams; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and 1 grandson. Surviving are 4 children, Charles (Brenda) Carmichael of Hampton, Thomas Johnson Jr. of East Peoria, Bonnie (Ron) Master of Pekin, Robert (Brenda) Johnson of East Peoria; 20 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Bonnie Consorti, Charlotte Castle of IN; and 1 brother, Mannie Martin of IN. Helen retired from Bemis Bag Co. in 1987. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be in Wheatfield, IN at a later date. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
