Obituary WASHINGTON--Hazel M. LaCock, 86, of Washington, died at 2:30 AM, on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Eureka Community Hospital in Eureka, IL. She was born on January 20, 1921 in Tremont, Illinois to Joseph and Anna Lay Lohnes. She married Howard Martin in 1940, and later married Howard LaCock in 1956 in Pontiac, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1993. Surviving is 1 son, Ronald Lee (Catherine) Martin of Denny Stirlingshire, Scotland; 2 daughters, Patricia Ann LaCock of Washington, IL and Susan (David) Eldert of Winston Salem, NC; 1 step son, Rev. Howard Duane LaCock of Hillsboro, IA; 1 sister, Ruth Grachek of East Peoria, IL; 1 daughter-in-law, Margaret Martin of Peoria, IL; 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Howard Martin, brother Ivan Lohnes, and step-son Harold Eugene LaCock. Hazel had worked at State Hospital Pharmacy in Bartonville, IL. She was a member of Bayview Baptist Church in Washington where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Pastor Keith Thibo will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 10-11 AM on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria, IL.
