Hazel and Norman enjoyed family, friends, and many travel adventures. They traveled to all 50 United States and over 20 other countries. Longtime residents of Milwaukee, they moved to Bradenton after retirement. In 2012, they relocated back to the Peoria area to be near family. Hazel put her trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age and trusted in Him until her passing. She always joined in singing the old time hymns with others whenever she could and loved listening to George Beverly Shea recording.

Her family would like to thank the many caregivers who helped her through the last several years, especially those at the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke, where she had lived since 2020.
