Obituary EAST PEORIA - Harry E. Foster, 90, of East Peoria, IL died at 10:25 am Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Born on June 23, 1916 in Higby, MO to Bertha Ott, he married Dorothy Redmond of East Peoria. They were married for 58 years. Surviving is his wife, Dorothy Foster of East Peoria; 1 daughter, Cheryl (Gene) Counce of Jonesboro, Arkansas; 3 grandchildren, Michele Frans and Joe (Kim) Frans both of Washington, IL and Gene (Kelly) Counce, Jr. of Memphis, TN and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother. He was a US Navy Veteran serving as a Chief Petty Officer during World War II. He was the owner of Peoria Arts and Crafts. He and his wife enjoyed their retirement years in Ely, Minnesota where they had a cabin and spent hours fishing and taking in the outdoors. A committal service will be at 10 am Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria. Father Thomas Taylor will officiate. Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
