Obituary EAST PEORIA-Harold F. Stewart, 75, of East Peoria, IL died at 4:45 PM Monday, April 8, 2013 at Manor Care at Riverview in East Peoria. Born on July 31, 1937 in Crawford County, IL to Paul F. and Faye M. Kampling Stewart, he married Patricia Crouse on May 20, 1955 in Mt. Carmel, IL. She survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Mike (Teresa) Stewart of Decatur, Dave (Karen) Stewart of Broken Arrow, OK, and Debra (Doug) Minson of Washington; 2 brothers, Darrell (Madeline) Stewart of Clarkston, MI and Claud (Karen) Stewart of San Jose, CA; 1 sister, Waneta (Thurman) Winters of Hopedale; 5 grandchildren, Wendy (John) Bush, Crystal (Cody) Rager, Jason (Maggi) Stewart, Dylan Stewart, and Jamie (Megin) Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Wayne. Harold worked at Caterpillar, Inc. for 35 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Charter Oak Bible Church where he was an alter man. He was also a National Guardsman. Harold enjoyed bowling at Morton Bowl, hunting, fishing. He also enjoyed dressing up for various events as "Uncle Bub" the clown. Memorial Services will be at 11 AM Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Charter Oak Bible Church in Peoria. Pastor Jerry Hayward will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Cremation rites have been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
