Obituary East Peoria - Harley W. Lacey Jr., 73, of East Peoria, died at 10:05 PM Monday August 5, 2013 at Unity Point Health - Methodist in Peoria. He was born on April 28, 1940 in Havana to Harley W. and Ava E. Herring Lacey Sr. He married Brenda Boley on June 14, 2013 in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are his two daughters; Leigh Ann Durdle of Columbia, MO and Jamie (Joe) Kolar of Phoenix, AZ, seven grandchildren and one brother, Eddie (Shirley) Lacey Sr. of Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a branch manager for Georgia-Pacific in Bloomington for fifteen years. For the past ten years he worked as an independent real estate agent. Harley loved to fish and was an avid outdoorsman. He also enjoyed watching thunderstorms. He took his health very seriously and worked out weekly. There will be a funeral service for Harley on Thursday August 8, 2013 at 1 PM at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
