Obituary Gregory S. Church, 56, of East Peoria, IL, died at 3:28 pm Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria surrounded by his family. Born on May 29, 1956 in Peoria, IL to Charles and Ethel Erickson Church, he married Cindy Tucker Naramore on May 23, 1999 in East Peoria, IL. She survives. Surviving are 3 children, Sarah (Kurt) Baumgartner of Chicago, IL, and Blake Naramore and Jake Naramore, both of East Peoria, IL, 2 granddaughters, Leighton Claire Baumgartner and Makinzi Lynn Naramore, 1 brother, Gary (Barb) Church of East Peoria, 4 nephews, Tim Church, Scott Church, Shawn Respress, and Brian Respress, and his in-laws, Terry and Dee Tucker, his brother-in law, Boomer Tucker and his daughter Jordan Tucker, all of East Peoria. Greg was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Judy Respress. Working at CityLink in Peoria for 35 years, he retired as a Supervisor in July 2012. Per Greg's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation rites will be accorded. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. There will be a celebration of life service at a later date.
