Obituary Grace Louise Reed, 96, of Washington, formerly of Peoria, passed away at 9:30pm, Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Washington Christian Village. Louise was born March 10, 1918 in Wichita, KS to John Floyd and Grace Mae Boyle McChesney. She married Leotis Reed in 1971, and he passed away in 1982. Surviving is a step-son, Bob (Marilyn) Reed of Washington, and their family. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Louise retired from OSF St. Francis Medical Center in 1977, after working as a medical secretary. She was a member of the Paris Avenue Church of Christ and the Peoria Area Blind People's Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Peoria Area Blind People's Center. A memorial service for Louise will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Paris Avenue Church of Christ in Peoria. Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington is serving the family.
