Obituary WASHINGTON - Grace A. Dose, 68, of Washington, IL, died at 1:20 pm Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born on April 12 1939 in Versailles, IL to Charles H. and Helen Smith Hall, she married Gerald E. Dose on April 7, 1973 in Creve Coeur, IL. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Kimberly Dose of Washington, IL, 2 sisters, Bobbie Hodges of Cookeville, TN and Marjorie Kenny of Creve Coeur, IL, and a special sister-in-law, Mary Kay Hall of Peoria, IL, several nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. Grace worked at the Children's Home in Peoria. She later worked in Housekeeping at Graham Hospital in Keokuk, IA and at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was a former member of the St. Thomas Church prayer group in Peoria Heights. Although she was raised and married in the Nazarene Church, she was a converted member of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed attending mass at Sacred Heart Church in Peoria with her daughter for many years. Services will be at 10:30 am Monday, February 25, 2008 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. Father Mark Miller will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:30-3:00 pm Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
