Obituary Peoria - Gordon Lee Seibold, 83 of East Peoria and formerly of Peoria, passed away at 6:55 PM on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Rosewood Care Center of East Peoria. Gordon was born on September 5, 1929 in Peoria, IL to the late Gordon and Bernice Rush Seibold. Gordon was formerly married to Barbara Smith. Surviving are six children, Debra L. (Terry) Kuykendall of Washington, Scott L. Seibold of Carrollton, TX, Michael (Trisha) Seibold of Williston, FL, Tracy L. Joseph of Carrollton, TX, Steven (Heather) Seibold of Washington, Lisa D. (Jeff) Howard of Marquette Heights; nine grandchildren, Rodney, Ricci, Kelsey, Kristin, Deanna, Shelby, Evan, Justin and John; nine great-grandchildren. Gordon was a draftsman for Unarco-Rohn Manufacturing for many years. In his earlier years he worked for the State Highway Department in Illinois. He enjoyed Nascar, playing pool and bicycling. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Honoring Gordon's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Passages Hospice or the Salvation Army of Peoria.
