Obituary Washington- Goldie E. Zillion, 93, of Washington died at 9:35 AM on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on September 25, 1915 to Thomas and Nettie (Dennison) Frank in Litchfield, KY. She married William H. Zillion on August 29, 1939 in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death in June of 1986. She is survived by 2 sons Richard (Judy) Zillion of Springfield and Harry (Cynthia) Zillion of Washington; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son. Goldie worked at Methodist Hospital for 15 years where she was in charge of the sewing room. She belonged to many card clubs in the Peoria area. She had also been a member of the Peoria Fire Department Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary in Peoria, Quatrafoil at Methodist, and Sunnyland Christian Church. A service to celebrate Goldie's life will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, July 17, 2009 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Pastor Evan Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the services on Friday from 12:00-1:30 PM also at the funeral home.
