Glyn Richard Schol, Jr, 50, of Morton, passed away at 8:50am Sunday, February 21, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Glyn was born July 9, 1970 in Long Island, NY to Glyn Schol, Sr. and Rose (Gama) Schol; his father preceded him in death. He is survived by his mom, Rose of Chillicothe; his children, Kensey Schol of Normal and Adam Schol of Peoria; siblings, Tony (Ashlie) Schol and Ricky (Jessica) Schol both of Chillicothe and Tara Presley of Princeton; and many nieces and nephews. Glyn was a drywall finisher for many years and a member of local #237. He was an amazing dart player and played in the area for many years. He was Bears and Cubs fan and also liked to play shuffleboard. Glyn had a big personality and loved life; he never knew a stranger and will be missed by so many. Family will receive friends from 1-3:00pm Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. His funeral service will be private, but will be livestreamed for those not able to attend in person.
