Obituary Washington - Gloria M. Hediger, 86, of Washington, died at 11:13 AM on Monday September 17, 2012 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born December 30, 1925 in Benton, IL to Cloyd and Chloe Emily Meadows Foster. She married Wayne Hediger on July 5, 1952 in Pickett, Arkansas. He survives. Also surviving are two sons; Michael (Mindy) Hediger and Robin Hediger, both of Washington, one daughter; Rebecca Gaylor of Bartonville, one grandson; John Wayne Gaylor of Bartonville, two sisters; Freda Alene Hobbs of Benton, Leona Middleton of Hacienda Heights, CA. She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. Gloria worked at Hiram Walker in Peoria in the 1940's as a bottle labeler. In the 1950's she worked as a waitress at Brownfields. Later she was a manager and cashier at Guzzardo's until 1982. She was a member of Sunnyland Church of the Nazarene. There will be a funeral for Gloria on Saturday September 22, 2012 at 11AM at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Pastor Randy Lingenfelter will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral . Burial will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
