Obituary MORTON- Glenna G. Miller, 91, of Morton, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 12:30 P.M. at Morton Villa. Glenna was born on April 19, 1925 in Elmer, MO to Joseph Dorsey Franklin and Ruby Pauline Patterson Grace. She married Loyal D. Miller in 1952. They later divorced. Surviving are two daughters, Beth (Daniel) Semlow and Lynne (Greg) Hill, all of Washington and two grandsons, Cody and Shane Semlow of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Dr. David Paul Grace, and one stillborn infant son. Glenna was a 1942 graduate of LaSalle-Peru Township High School. She worked at for many years at LaSalle State Bank before working for Boy Scouts of America in Peoria. She loved gardening, cooking, reading the newspaper and listening to opera and classical music. Memorial contributions may be made to Stray Animal Midway Shelter (SAMS) in Hanna City. Glenna chose to donate her body to science to help others. There will be no services. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
