Obituary Gilda Sue Daugherty, 74, of Washington, IL, died at 4:12 pm Friday, June 16, 2017 at OSF Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Born on May 23, 1943 in Bueladine, NC to James M. and Bonnie E. Street, she married J.D. Daugherty on January 2, 1960 in Sunnyland. He survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Troy L. Daugherty, Tory L. Daugherty, and Jamie (Jeff) Charlton, 6 grandchildren, Erin, Emma, Cade, Cyler, Ian, and Elise, 2 sisters, Sherran (Larry) Ellwanger and Betty (Terry) Gebhardt, 1 brother, Mike (Alice) Street and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Mack Street. Gilda Sue was a very loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. A visitation will be from 11-1 pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, followed by a Time of Sharing at 1 pm.
