Obituary East Peoria, IL- Georgia D. Buck, 87, of East Peoria, IL died at 5:49 am Friday, May 21, 2010 at her home. She was born April 24, 1923 in Sullivan, IN to Johnie W. and Roxie (Butler) Vaught. She married John Buck, Jr. February 1, 1942 in Carlisle, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1989, a sister, Roselee Trimble in 2010, and 1 son, Byron G. Buck. Surviving are two grandchildren, Byron (Ruth) Buck II of Washington, IL and Susannah (Kevin) Hall of Magnolia, TX; and 6 great grandchildren. Georgia was an artist and oil painter. She was a member of Sigma Chi Alpha Sorority, North Park Chapter 404- Order of the Eastern Star and Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington, IL. A crypt-side committal service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
