Obituary WASHINGTON - Gary W. Duckwiler, 49, of Washington, IL died at 10:31 pm Sunday, June 12, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Born on July 19, 1961 in Pekin, IL to Cleo and Ada McCloud Duckwiler, he married Juanita R. Caldwell on October 25, 1986 in Peoria, IL. She survives. Also surviving are his father Cleo "Bud" Duckwiler of Peoria, IL, 1 daughter, Brandi Duckwiler , 2 sons, Gary Duckwiler and Brian Duckwiler, all of Washington, IL, 3 sisters and 1 brother, Melinda (Andrew) Bush of Grayslake, IL, Carl Duckwiler of Washington, IL, Mona (Richard "Zippy") Blunk of Peoria, IL, Dena (Jim) Binegar of East Peoria, IL, and 3 grandchildren, Justin Peacher, Lindsi "grandpa's princess" Peacher, and Logan Duckwiler. He was preceded in death by his mother. Gary was the owner and operator of Bud's Auto Sales in Creve Coeur, where he has worked for the last 40 years. A visitation will be held at 4-7 pm Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Services for Gary will be held at 11 am Friday, June 17, 2011, also at the funeral home. Pastor Mark Westman will officiate. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington, IL.
