Obituary Frieda E. Parrott, 82, of Washington, passed away at 10:15am Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria. Frieda was born October 10, 1934 in East Peoria to Ferris and Clara Federmeier Elam. She married William Parrott on June 14, 1952. Surviving are her children, William Parrott of Peoria, Robert (Vickie) Parrott, Barry (Tammy) Parrott, and Belinda Parrott, all of Washington; grandchildren, Brian (Cherie) Parrott, Brad (Erin) Parrott, Brooke (Tim) Mylott, Brett (Lisa) Parrott, Brock Parrott (Heather Sopher), Paige (Bart) Jenkins, and Brandon (Erin) Parrott; great-grandchildren, Will, C.C., Carrie, Whitney, Valerie, Blake, Bryant, Raelee, Caden, Trinity, Zeke, Baylee, Stella, Nova, Myleigh, Carter, and Peyton; and her twin sister, Fran Gritton. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and four sisters. Frieda was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 2, and was an active member of Highview Church of God. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, cards, and playing games with her grandkids. She was also an avid Cubs fan. A memorial service will be held at 1pm Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Highview Church of God in Washington. The family will receive friends from 11am-1pm Wednesday at the church. Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory, Washington is assisting with cremation services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Highview Church of God.
