Obituary WASHINGTON - Frederick J. McGlaughlin, 57, of Washington, IL died at 3:45 am Friday, February 9, 2007 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on January 21, 1950 in Moline, IL to John S. "Jack" and Joan Weaver McGlaughlin. Surviving are his mother, Joan McGlaughlin of Washington, IL, 2 daughters, Diane McGlaughlin of Prior Lake, MN and Monica (Travis) Fremming of Jordan, MN, 2 grandsons, Logan John and Lleyton Earl Fremming, both of Jordan, MN, his girlfriend, Lucy Deignan of Yonkers, NY, 3 sisters, Becky McGlaughlin of Washington, IL , Jennifer (Ivan) Rieke of Goodfield, IL, and Marsha (Burt) Burbidge of Flower Mound, TX, and 1 brother, Mike (Karen) McGlaughlin of Washington, IL. He was preceded in death by his father. He was a US Air Force Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a Service Technician for Liquid Air in Peoria. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington, IL and also St. James Catholic Church in Mukwonago, WI. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Fr. John Menco Council #6707 in Washington. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus choir at St. Patrick Catholic Church. He was an Eagle Scout. On Father's Day in 1982, Fred and his father, Jack, both had holes-in-one at Hillcrest Golf Course in Washington. A funeral mass will be at 10 am Monday, February 12, 2007 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington. The Rev. Joseph P. Donton will officiate. Visitation will be from 2-4 pm Sunday, February 11, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington where recitation of the Rosary will be at 3:45 pm.
