Obituary MORTON-Frances K. Ballard, 90, of Morton, IL died at 12:00 AM Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Belwood Nursing Home in Peoria. Born on January 7, 1922 in Gladstone, Manitoba, Canada to Albert E. and Golda V. Doan Buchanan, she married Robert L. Ballard on July 27, 1957. He preceded her in death on November 13, 1991 Surviving are 1 son, Gene (Barbara) Hart, Jr. of Metamora, 1 step-daughter, Linda Ballard Zehr, and 1 great-grandchild. Frances worked at Lincoln Service, Inc. in Pekin for 22 years and Glazebrook Fire Equipment in Washington for 8 years. Cremation has been accorded and there will be no services. Private interment will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
