Obituary Floyd R. Robison, 71, of Metamora, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2015 at Washington Christian Village. He was born June 17, 1943 in Bloomington, IL to Floyd O. and Dorothy J. Sherman Robison. He married Mary Ann Downey in Las Vegas, NV on September 23, 1992. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Daniel (and Stephen) Robison of CA, Jeffrey Robison of Peoria; and grandson, Landon. He was preceded in death by his parents. Floyd was a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington. He served in the United States Army Reserves. He worked at Komatsu for 46 years, retiring in January of 2013. He was a member of the Spring Bay American Legion Post 1115 and an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Memorial contributions may be made to Illinois CancerCare in Peoria. Floyd's funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
