Florence B. Craig, 95, of Washington, IL and formerly of East Peoria, IL, died at 8:45 pm Sunday, October 16, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

Born on March 9, 1927 in Reese, MI to Rodney and Allie Baker Parks, she married James W. Craig on September 8, 1945 in CA. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2002 in East Peoria.

A mother of 10 children, Flo is survived by 9 of them; James W. "Bill" (Gayle) Craig III of Pekin, IL, Linda M. Craig of East Peoria, IL Gary S. (Patricia) Craig and Pamela J. Porter, both of Peoria, IL ,Michelle A. Craig of Washington, IL, Michael L. (Lynn) Craig of Germantown Hills, IL, Thomas M. (Mary) Craig of Occoquan, VA, and Catherine M. Craig (Ken Klotz) and Karen S. (Jeffrey) Moses, both of Washington, IL, 19 grandchildren and many loved great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Mark Andrew Craig, and many brothers and sisters.

Flo worked as a secretary and bookkeeper at Craig Upholstering in Peoria for several years. She was a long-time member of St. Monica's Church in East Peoria, IL where she was active in the Ladies Guild, and was one of the founding members of Hands of Christ. In her later years, she attended St. Patrick Church in Washington and enjoyed time spent with friends doing bible study, playing cards, and crafting for charitable organizations.

A funeral mass will be at 10:30 am Saturday, October 22, 2022 at St. Patrick Church in Washington. Father John Steffen will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at the church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West Peoria, IL. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
