Obituary Fern E. Donigian, 91, of Washington, passed away at 10:20pm Friday, November 27, 2015 at Washington Christian Village. Fern was born November 21, 1924 in Chandlerville, IL to Charles Frank and Beulah Pearl McDaniel Nall. She married Harry D. Donigian, Sr. on December 2, 1944 in Palmyra, MO. He preceded her in death in 2008. Surviving is her daughter, Rebecca Sue (Richard) Carter, of Edwardsville, KS; daughter-in-law, Cindy Miller, of Washington; grandchildren, Charles Donigian, Jr. of Ashland, MO, Tammy Carter Husband of Edwardsville, KS, Jeremy Wayne Donigian of Colorado, Devin Donigian of Washington, and Paula Skaggs of Lee's Summit, MO. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Harry "Danny" Donigian, Jr. and Charles M. Donigian, Sr.; daughter-in-law Connie Donigian; and grandson, Jonathan Decker. Fern was a longtime Washington resident and helped established Washington Helps Its People (WHIP). Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory, Washington, is assisting the family with cremation arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
